The Swarm

Last night around 8:00 mom and Allie went into the goat pen to get fertilizer ( poop ) for our garden. They heard this buzzing in a tree. Well come to find out it was my moms bees that swarmed in a tree. Thanks to a more experienced bee keeper he helped get them from the tree. What had happened was there box was getting to crowded. So half of the bees left the box with the queen. So the others that were left in the box were building up a new queen.  Here are some pictures of the swarm.
